We’re using the ParentSquare app this year to keep in touch. ParentSquare is great for quick messaging, sharing pictures and documents, homework assignments, parent teacher conferences, and all school-related updates.

Attendance Policy
Things to Remember
My class starts working at 7:50am. If you are not in the classroom by that time you are counted tardy for the day (not including doctor appointments or extreme weather). In addition, your student needs to be at school. We have an attendance policy where if your student misses more than 90% of instruction days they will have to attend summer school.
Deadlines
What You Should Know
I have pretty rigid deadlines for my classroom. When a due date is in place I honor it and I expect my students to do the same. If a student turns in their work late, it is minus 10 points everyday it is late until after 3 days. No late work will be accepted after 3 days. The grade will be at teacher’s discretion.
Academic Dishonesty
Cheating & Plagiarism
Our district has a zero-tolerance space for cheating and plagiarism. Any submitted work that is not your own will receive a zero as well as a parent contact and consequences needed. Please see the student handbook for the formal definition(s) of cheating.
